New Center In Franklin To Treat Pelvic Problems
Williamson County, TN - Nov. 4, 2008 - Women who suffer from pelvic health problems ranging from incontinence to chronic pain now have a place to go for treatment.Saint Thomas Health Services has opened a Center for Pelvic Health at 4601 Carothers Parkway, Suite 350 in Franklin.
According to the National Women's Health Resource Center, at least one-third of all women will be treated for a pelvic health condition by the age of 60, with the onset of conditions highest among baby boomers.
Pelvic health problems can be caused by a variety of factors, but are commonly linked to pregnancy and childbirth or genetic factors.
